About our client
For our client, a worldwide auto parts supplier from China (Top 100 global OEM parts supplier), which is specialized in design, manufacturing and sales of exterior auto parts, we are looking for a HR Generalist (full-time position).
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide cultural HR support, consultative services and program delivery to ensure organizational alignment with culture, values, policies, procedures, and performance objectives
- Ensure legal compliance and mitigate the Company's risk through having an understanding of most relevant employment laws (Knowledge of Germany lobor law is must, UK and Serbian labor law is preferred).
- Manage end to end employee life cycle, including recruiting, onboarding, development and exits.
- Ensure the attraction and retention of talent that supports company short and long term needs. Coordinate the performance appraisal process with support from global HR Team.
- Lead the payroll process, and manage compensation and benefits programs in teamwork with the corporate compensation lead.
- Prepare and assist in visa processes and take care of other administrative topics Compliance with control procedures and PLEX requirements.
- Participate in global HR projects. Employee attendance management

Qualifications and knowledge:
- Bachelor degree or higher in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences or related studies.
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience required. Experience working in an international company is preferred.
- Good knowledge of all HR administration areas and the German labor law
- A “hands on” professional with proactive approach and demonstrated ability to effectively engage with all levels of employees and managers
- Must be an excellent communicator, and able to use interpersonal skills effectively, especially tact, diplomacy, persuading and influencing. Ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions to favorably impact the overall business.
- Understanding and empathy with different cultures.
- Experience in a customer-oriented, demanding commercial environment, which has a high sense of urgency.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook etc. required. Knowledge of Visio is preferred.
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
